Wikis, Zoho and Other Funny Sounding Collaborative Tools

Oh, silly us! We decided to use Zoho Notebook for our webquest assignment, and what a learning experience that has been! I'm hoping that it's just a totally cool tool that takes a while to figure out. But, unfortunately, ease of use is not it's strong point so far. Our group has had to use the good ole' telephone to discuss how to use the collaborative tool. Anyone outside our group have any experience with Zoho? We'd love to know what you think about its ease of use. We've been inserting Zoho Writer into Notebook and working in that, but I have a funny feeling there's another way to work with Notebook. Generally, I've found wikis to be fun and easy. What's up with Zoho???

Our group is also using Zoho Notebook and some things just aren't looking as I wanted/expected them to. I wonder if other groups are having any problems with using a wikki? The other day I was thinking maybe that was the easier way to go- not sure! If you find out, definitely post for future reference! :)

Hi Maria!
Our group is using Notebook and so far, I really like it. I haven't added much more than text, however. I'm not a big risk-taker and do best when I can work in person on the tool at first. Then I can feel more comfortable using it on my own. Hang in there! I'm sure it will turn out great! See you in a couple of days!

Hey Maria,
We are using zohoo and it seems to work well for us. The key for me has been paying attention to the text boxes and how you add them to the page. The formating is a bit squarly but works well. Tha chat piece will work but everyone needs to be online at the same time. You can leave notes sort of like stickys in there as well that may help you.
